U13 Initiation Evaluations (Players born in 2002)
Mountain United FC will be holding a series of evaluations for selection to its 2014 U13 Initiation Teams. Our current Initiation Team coaches will oversee the evaluations with assistance from the rest of the MUFC coaching staff. Players born in the year 2002 are eligible for selection. *Please note, players born in the year 2003 may be considered for evaluation but only if identified and endorsed by MUFC’s Technical Director through scouting and recommendation in advance. The teams will be selected by early March 2014 and will commence training later that month. They will participate in an exhibition/tournament schedule from April to June before taking the summer break. Fees for the spring schedule are TBA and will cover coaching, fields, officials, equipment and kit. These teams will then play in the EA Sports BCSPL mini season from September to November 2014. Following a re-evaluation phase and winter break, the teams will move on to the full U13 EA Sports BCSPL season in February 2015.
The EA Sports BCSPL www.bcsoccerpremierleague.net is the new high performance league with eight regional Clubs. It represents the highest level of youth soccer in the province. Mountain United FC Prospective Players
Aside from the U12 intake each March (detailed elsewhere on this page), open evaluations are not held for our current teams. Rather, prospective players are identified through scouting and recommendation and are invited in for regular team training for an assessment.
