U13 Intakes - 2010 Born Players
Mountain United FC selects one Boys and one Girls U13 Intake Team for entry in the BCSPL League each year. For our 2022 Teams, players born in the 2010 year are eligible for selection. (* Please note: Players born in the 2011 year may also be considered for evaluation but only if identified and endorsed by MUFC’s Technical Director through scouting and recommendation in advance.)
Play for Mountain’s Intake Team
If you are interested in being considered for our U13 Intake Teams for the 2022 BCSPL season you must first submit an EVALUATION REQUEST Interested players will be invited to attend a number of training sessions, where they will be assessed through a variety of training exercises, drills, and small sided games.
Coaches for our 2022 Intake 2010 teams are: Dave Andreychuk - BOYS and Adam Hayne - GIRLS. Mountain coaches are continually evaluating players from all over the Lower Mainland in their current team and training environments. Year round evaluation, Partner Club recommendations, and evaluation requests from players, ensure we have a talented pool of prospective players.
Mountain will be evaluating players who have expressed interest in our BCSPL Intake program through our existing U12 environment. Interested players will be invited to attend a number of training sessions, where they will be assessed through a variety of training exercises, drills, and small sided game play. We will also introduce players to the 11v11 game format. In January we will continue evaluations, narrowing the list of players for selection to our Intake Teams. We will begin offering roster positions to players in mid-January.
Intake Team Information
- Eligible players: 2010 born (2011 may be allowed)
- Players may be offered positions starting January 17th until February 28th 2022
- Team Rosters will be finalized March 1, 2026
- Spring 2022: Training 2 x week & exhibition games series from April-June
- Fall 2022: Training 3 x week & BCSPL League play from August-November
- Player fees for the Intake Program (April through November) including Kit @ $1,800
